Forge & Flame Dealer in Hayward, Wisconsin
Harman, Quadra-Fire and Vermont Castings stoves
Authorized Forge & Flame dealer
Forge & Flame at Northwoods Stove & Fireplace
Forge & Flame is the new name on three lines we have sold for years: Harman, Quadra-Fire and Vermont Castings. The three now share one brand and one catalog of wood, pellet and gas stoves and inserts. The stoves are the ones people around Hayward already know, and we still sell, install and service all of them.
- Pellet stoves and inserts built on Harman technology
- Wood stoves and inserts from the Quadra-Fire line
- Cast iron wood and gas stoves with the Vermont Castings finish
- Parts and service for Harman, Quadra-Fire and Vermont Castings stoves you already own
Who it suits
Right for anyone heating a whole house with wood or pellets, for someone who wants to set a temperature in October and mostly stop thinking about it until April, and for an older home or cabin where a cast iron stove belongs in the room.
Not sure? Tell us the room and how you use the place, and we will say plainly whether this is the right line or whether something else on our floor fits better.
What makes it different
If you came in asking for a Harman, a Quadra-Fire or a Vermont Castings, you are in the right place. Pellet stoves built on Harman technology read the room temperature and adjust the feed to hold it, the way a furnace would. The wood stoves that came from Quadra-Fire are built for a long, even burn. The cast iron stoves carry the Vermont Castings finish, with porcelain enamel that is fired on rather than painted. The names on the paperwork changed. What is inside the stoves did not.
Everything we sell from this line is installed by our own crew and serviced here afterward. Being an authorized dealer is what keeps the manufacturer warranty valid and the genuine parts available, which matters most on the day something needs fixing in the middle of winter.

Other lines worth comparing
Most people who come in asking for one brand leave having compared it against two others standing next to it. That is the point of a showroom.
