Heat & Glo Dealer in Hayward, Wisconsin
Gas fireplaces and inserts
Authorized Heat & Glo dealer
Heat & Glo at Northwoods Stove & Fireplace
Heat & Glo builds the gas fireplaces people picture when they picture a fireplace: a wide, clean opening, a steady flame, and no wood to carry. Most of what we install from them is a direct vent unit that pulls its air from outside and sends its exhaust back out the same pipe, so the room keeps its heat.
- Direct vent gas fireplaces for new walls and remodels
- Gas inserts that drop into an existing masonry opening
- Wall switch, remote, and thermostat control
- Sealed glass front, so the fire stays behind the glass
Who it suits
Right for a main living space where the fireplace is meant to be looked at as much as felt, and for anyone who wants heat on a wall switch without carrying wood through the house.
Not sure? Tell us the room and how you use the place, and we will say plainly whether this is the right line or whether something else on our floor fits better.
What makes it different
Direct vent is the part worth understanding. An old open fireplace burns air from inside the house, which means it is pulling air you already paid to heat up the chimney and drawing cold air in around every door to replace it. A sealed direct vent unit takes combustion air from outside through the outer wall of a double pipe and sends exhaust out through the inner one. The glass stays shut, the room stays sealed, and the heat stays where you put it.
Everything we sell from this line is installed by our own crew and serviced here afterward. Being an authorized dealer is what keeps the manufacturer warranty valid and the genuine parts available, which matters most on the day something needs fixing in the middle of winter.

Other lines worth comparing
Most people who come in asking for one brand leave having compared it against two others standing next to it. That is the point of a showroom.
Come see it burning.
Photographs only get you so far with a fire. The showroom on Highway 63 has units running through the season.
