Valcourt Dealer in Hayward, Wisconsin
Masonry-style wood fireplaces
Valcourt at Northwoods Stove & Fireplace
Valcourt builds wood fireplaces with a masonry feel, including the kind of deep, radiant firebox that a lake house does well with. A different look from a steel box, and worth seeing in person.
- Wood burning fireplaces with a masonry look
- Radiant fireboxes that hold heat
- Traditional arched and square openings
- Pairs naturally with stone facings
Who it suits
Right for a lake house or log home where the fireplace is the heart of the main room, and for anyone who wants a wood fire with a built masonry look rather than a metal face.
Not sure? Tell us the room and how you use the place, and we will say plainly whether this is the right line or whether something else on our floor fits better.
What makes it different
A radiant firebox works on a different principle from a convection unit. Instead of moving heated air around with a blower, the mass of the firebox absorbs heat and radiates it into the room the way a stone hearth does, long and slow. It is a quieter kind of warmth, and in a room with a high ceiling it often feels better than a fan pushing hot air across it.
Everything we sell from this line is installed by our own crew and serviced here afterward. Being an authorized dealer is what keeps the manufacturer warranty valid and the genuine parts available, which matters most on the day something needs fixing in the middle of winter.

Other lines worth comparing
Most people who come in asking for one brand leave having compared it against two others standing next to it. That is the point of a showroom.
Come see it burning.
Photographs only get you so far with a fire. The showroom on Highway 63 has units running through the season.
